Paul and I married February 26, 1982, so we just celebrated our 25th anniversary. Our son, Ryan, was born February 20, 1985 and has been a great blessing to us. We were basketball parents during his years at Frenship. 19 years ago, I started a childcare in our home in order to be home with Ryan. Now he's on his own here in Lubbock and I still haven't learned my lesson! |

I moved to Chapel Hill, NC in 1977, met my husband and started school at UNC.I graduated in 1981with a degree in English Education. Bill and I married in 1982 and had our first of four children in 1984. We stayed in Chapel Hill raising our incredible children until 2009 when we retired to beautiful Sarasota, Florida. Life has been a wonderful adventure! Since I didn't move to Lubbock until my sophomore year and left the middle of senior year, I didn't have the opportunity to meet many of you. But, the friends I did make are still so special to me in my heart. They made my years at CHS amazing. I'd love to see everyone. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the reunion. |

After graduation I never went to UNM to play football, but went to South Plains College and threw the shotput for 2 years. I turned down Clemson to go to Tech for 1/2 a semester. I quit Tech and went to work because I got tired of depending on my parents and watching my dad go to work every day while I played. I got married in 1984 to my soulmate and best friend, Leslie. Together we renovated and old farmhouse and live on a small acreage near Wolfforth. Two years ago I retired from Culligan to stay with my daughter, Macy, while Leslie teaches 6th grade Science in Frenship. We have 4 children. Macy is 2 years old, and it was no accident. Mitch is 14 and a freshman at Frenship High School. Our twins, Mark and Andy are 19, and are sophomore Youth and Family Ministry majors at Lubbock Christian University. I have had a wonderful life, so far. I'm middle aged, fat, bald, and ugly. But, my family thinks I'm beautiful, and I'm the happiest man I know.

I graduated from Texas Tech in 1982 with a Finance degree. After a brief office romance at American State Bank, I married Brad Burgess in 1986. I quit work and was a stay at home mom for 14 years. I have recently started working part time for a friend who owns a Home Boutique in Lubbock named Bespoke. Brad and I have a son who graduated from Coronado this year and will attend Tech in the fall. Our daughter will be a freshman at Coronado this fall. For those of you who have been gone, Lubbock High Schools now include the ninth grade. This change was made last year. I still keep in contact with alot of old friends, but look forward to seeing everyone else. |

Can't believe it has been over 30 years since we wondered the hall of CHS. There were and are a lot of great people from the class of CHS 1977. I am married to a wonderful man and still live in Lubbock. About the only thing that has changed with me is age and more weight but oh well that means there is that much more to love.

I graduated from Tech with an engineering degree in '81 and accepted a job with General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin). I am now in my 25th year there working as a design engineer on fighter aircraft avionic systems. I can't believe it has been this long! I got married in '90 and have two boy's ages 10 and 7. I am still an avid golfer and get to play a fair amount. I look forward to seeing all my old friends at the reunion as I will be there. Does anyone know where Dale Smith is located? Dale and I ended up living in a dorm together at Tech for one semester and I would like to contact him.
